Poland announced the acquisition of multiple rocket launcher systems under the HOMAR program and integrated command management system TOPAZ. The nature of the programmes has the potential to radically change the strategic posture of NATO by creating robust polish A2/AD capability with its own limited strategic depth in the western territory of Belarus and it will cover a territory of the Baltic States too. The policy brief examines how the HOMAR and TOPAZ programs will affect strategic stability in the region, what is their strategic and military logic and what are the military tools for their implementation.
